1080p and 60fps! Looks like Team Ninja does not find the PS3 hard to program for.

 Holy shit, the previous previews didn't have it at 1080p, apparently they added that recently. Wow, this game keeps looking better and better.

No, I don't think it's hard to develop for at all. What's hard though is taking existing game engines developed for other platforms and really take advantage of all the power available under the hood. I already talked about this a year before the PS3's release, stating multi-platform games developers may dislike the PS3's design because of this. Building game engines from the ground up to take advantage of the Cell's SPUs should result into unparalled gaming/multimedia performance.



Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

Because we haven't seen anything about the actual game so far, and the original didn't live up to the promises it made. It might be great, especially if the developers learned something from the first one, but right now there's no point in putting a game with no confirmed information on a list like this.

Has Sony even claimed it's coming out in 2007? I can't recall hearing anything about potential release dates.


 If they have a public beta coming far before the end of the year, do you think that they will need until next year to finish it?

 I don't know, maybe they'll release it at the same time as MGS 4

Very strong line-up indeed, stronger than the 360 line-up in my opinion. By holiday time the PS3 might finally have the game library to justify that high price.

ps3 has to make it through the halo onslaught... might be a good thing halo comes out in september.. because halo could potentially be forgotten after that

it  will be forgotten especially if killzone 2 lives up to the hype...plus HaZe is coming out... wooooooo
