Updated OP with the trailers, now that they're posted.
Worth noting that RE7/Village are the Gold Editions.
This is the first time a current gen mainline Resident Evil game has released on a Nintendo system since RE4 on Gamecube.

Yeah I'll be picking up Requiem as well, and Village as I already played RE7 on PS5. Can't comment on which is better personally.
Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7 are some of the best games I've ever played. I recommend everyone to get those.
Key Cards are stupid. You might as well download it digitally. There is no difference unless you want people to borrow the game.

And you can litteraly use Gameshare to accomplish that anyway.

Nice.
Here's hoping RE2 and RE4 remakes come in the future alongside the rumored Code Veronica remake.
I already have all the Switch 1 RE games.

Yeah here's hoping; Dusk Golem says they are all coming, and he was right about Requiem/7/Village.
On a technical level they should be fairly easy to port as they run on PS4. If they're willing to go to the trouble of bringing over Requiem, a current gen title, then the last gen stuff should be a no-brainer.

The image quality and lighting difference is pretty enormous, but other than that the Switch 2 is holding up well when it comes to retaining a similar experience.
I hope they release a PSVR version. That's my favorite way to play modern Resident Evil. Had a blast with Village VR.
You can tell it's cut back, especially the hair, but honestly for a portable console running a high profile current gen title, it holds up fine, certainly a lot closer than we saw in most PS4 ports to Switch 1.
It will be interesting to see where RE7 and Village fall technically; will they be straight ports of the PS4 versions, or will they incorporate some of the 9th gen upgrades?
For comparison, just look at how horrible Revelations 2 looked on the PS Vita. For a PS5 game running on a handheld, RE9 is holding up fantasticaly.
