100% a racial murder.

I read he even said " i just killed a white woman" not sure if thats true thou.
Noo wonder sites like cnn where silent.

If this whas a black woman the streets would be on fire by riots.

fucking disgusting that a criminal whas sent free a dozens of times and killed a innocent young girl.

Saying, "I just killed a white woman" does reaffirm or add to this being a racial murder at all.

Horrific. He shouldn't have even been on the streets given his priors and medical history. Completely preventable, like so many other cases across the west. The media handled this case disgracefully by trying to bury it too, for very obvious reasons.

Exactly, there were so many signs this guy was dangerous, from his history of violent crime like assault ands armed robbery to his mental health issues and his claims that "man made material" was controlling his body.

Guy was a ticking time bomb and the system didn't step in.

I just don't understand why anyone would do this. I've never once in my life looked at someone and wanted to kill them.

im also willing to bet you dont have a rap sheet that is 20+ items long.

i think the moral of the story is that we need to lock people up who have proven they have no ability or willingness to get along in society because when we dont, then yes, there are people among us who just might look at us and want to kill us.

Why do people randomly feel the need to insert Black women into things that are completely unrelated to them?

Anyway, another shining example of the failure of the criminal justice system and healthcare system in the US. Completely preventable and it's such a shame someone who was fleeing war still ended up with a violent unnecessary death.

i think what he means is if the races were completely reversed, like if it were a black woman murdered in the same way by a white man.

because i agree with you, if it were a black woman murdered by this same man not many would bat an eye.

I did not watch the video but are we going to act as if such murders do not happen in the US a lot and not just big cities but in general. The question about this incident is how much will it be used politically. Instead of this being an issue where someone who clearly has some mental issues and needed some serious help, all this seem to be doing is playing to the tune of people who want to use it for political gain. You would thing the political gain would be to recognize people who are at this violent point and seek to help them or get them off the street instead of playing to some BS about violent crime in Dems cities thus we need military assistance.

i think whats unique about this video is how random it was, how senseless it was, the fact that it happened right there in public, how the whole incident was captured on video, and how after it happened, everybody kind of just strut around aimlessly.

its very crazy to think that you can just be in public like this and be assaulted in this way, for no apparent reason.

Violence against women is so common and normalised that people only care if it suits their political motives or if it's a pretty woman. These people are so quick to sensationalise violence against pretty white girls by minorities that they're completely blind to the amount of sexual and physical violence white men (all men really) commit to women every single day.

If this very same woman had accused a rich and powerful boss of sexual assault these would be the same mfers accusing her of lying for money and attention.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

yeah those two situations are in no way comparable. its so obvious that im not even going to bother spending any time on that.

i dont see that violence against women is common and normalized though, because you need a comparison group for that. in this case the comparison group is men. violence against men is way more common and way more normalized. this is an objective fact. i think a lot of people were shocked by this footage regardless of political motive. i mean, it is shocking to see. i already outlined in another post in this thread why this video is getting so much attention, i wont do it again, just scroll up.

The guy was locked up, from what I read it was 10 years.  You do know people do get out of prison after serving their term or are we talking about permanent incarcerations.  Where the system broke down is when his mother called the cops and the doctors diagnosed him as unstable.  How do you actually handle that.  If he did not do a crime up to that point, do you just lock him up just because he can be a danger.  How do you draw the line and where.  This is more of a mental case issue at its core because before this guy decided to commit murder like he did, it was clear he was probably totally bonkers.

You can be assaulted like this in public in many places.  I believe the only real difference here is that the majority are not captured on video.  This act of violence isn't unique within America.  Now someone just stabbing someone who they did not know just for the hell of it doesn't happen often but is that any difference from the many serial killers out there that just kill for whatever crazy motivation that takes them.  Its evident this guy was totally bonkers.
