The guy was locked up, from what I read it was 10 years. You do know people do get out of prison after serving their term or are we talking about permanent incarcerations. Where the system broke down is when his mother called the cops and the doctors diagnosed him as unstable. How do you actually handle that. If he did not do a crime up to that point, do you just lock him up just because he can be a danger. How do you draw the line and where. This is more of a mental case issue at its core because before this guy decided to commit murder like he did, it was clear he was probably totally bonkers.
