I never did speedruns of the game, although there was a time when, as a kid, I made a habit of playing through the same level order you just did when bored sometimes because it was the kind of thing I could do in about a half-hour or so. It was more of a casual thing. I was never anywhere near as skilled with cape usage in general as what I see in your video, just climbed the cages the regular way, and yeah my journeys through the Ghost House in particular were...they did not look like that. 
I'm not as good as I used to be either just because playthroughs have become less frequent over the years and I've forgotten level details I used to have down pat. You have real skill!
