Hopefully not a Game Key Card release, so I can grab it on Switch 2.
Always enjoyed the HD-2D games.

*Sigh* No luck here pal, considering what we saw of Octopath 0 not getting one(not even in the CE edition !)

I'm anticipating more of those from most publishers really. I feel like it's either I'll have to bite that GKC bullet more than want to or simply go straight digital(which I don't want as well)

Oh well... I guess they can justify the lost sale.

Aside from the sad date of another GKC game. Playing the demo, my biggest gripe so far would've been the slow default character movement but Faie's ability negate that somewhat. I still think it should be increased nonetheless.

Anywoo, this is not really an action RPG like I thought at the beginning but moreso a Zelda-Like which is surprising and honestly is already plays pretty well with what we're given from the get go

Okay finally got around to playing the demo.

Overall, it's really good! The art style and music are beautiful, controls feels solid, and its got that retro charm of something like A Link to the Past but married with modern conveniences and QoL.

My only gripe so far is that image quality is a bit soft and noticeably upscaled, but since the game's not out til next year, there should be plenty of time to optimize and improve that.

Overall, if the final game lives up to the demo, I'll be buying for sure.

Just finished the demo as well and honestly, Square Enix finally managed something that can come close to the feeling of old-school Zelda's while retaining its fair share of great elements.

Like Faie's powers are actually simply too good to pass up on and adds a good layer to the platforming challenges and unique ways to approach battle scenarios.

Don't know how the story will truly unfold which I think will likely be on the lighter side but the demo convinced me the journey will be a worthy one.
It's always good to know Team Asano is still carving it's ways into new projects while nurturing their legacy. Basically, there the equivalent of what old SquareSoft was before FF took over as the main pillar
