What is the highest week sales for a console outside of the launch week ? 

Ventas España: Nintendo Switch 2 arrasa en su estreno con 108.000 consolas

Updated Spain sales - 108,000 for Switch 2 through first weekend. Double previous record of 54,000 by PSP. That is also 2.4 times higher than Switch 1.

Edit: With Spain updated numbers of 108,000 that could put Europe launch week sales around 900,000. 

That is a crazy high launch for Switch 2 in Spain. Very impressive.

Reported numbers so far for Switch 2 launch:

• UK: 160K+ (Switch 2 Had the Biggest Nintendo Launch in the UK, But Falls Below PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PS4)
• France: 169K?! (https://bsky.app/profile/oscarlemaire.bsky.social/post/3lrbjknrnxr2k )
• Spain: 108K (Switch 2 Reportedly Sold 108,000 Units in Spain at Launch to Smash Records)

All three are over 2 times Switch 1 launch. Spain launch sales being 2.4 times Switch 1. If sales are 2.4 times Switch 1 like in Spain in the rest of Europe we could be talking 1 million sold week 1 in Europe.

Updated France numbers. French journalist Oscar Lemaire is reporting Switch 2 sold 169K in France. Beating previous record of 107K set by the PS5.

Can't wait to see those June sales numbers!

There is some debate if Oscar Lemaire's sales figures includes MyNintendostore sales or if they are only retail sales. Could be the case that the 200K sales is MyNintendostore sales included as well?

That is possible. 169K does seem low as that is on par with the UK and France is a much bigger market for Nintendo than the UK is. It is also possible Nintendo shipped roughly the same number of units to the UK and France.

Good thing is, Nintendo France isn't too shy from reporting their sales milestones usually. 

Maybe they'll report on their launch over there ?

That would be nice, along with Nintendo revealing worldwide launch sales.

Are they? Just recently we got vg systems raising their prices instead of cutting and for the Nintendo audience, Switch price remained the same the entire generation
