Wolfenstein: The New Order.

A fantastic shooter with a badass sense of style and punchy satisfying shooting, but also a lot of heart.

Only played it a little bit, but my impression was also really good. Did you play any of the sequels/spin-offs?

I played and liked Wolfenstein II; I didn't like the look of Youngblood so I skipped it. I have Old Blood on PS4 sitting in my backlog haha.

This. I liked it even more than its sequel.

Yeah Wolfenstein II was still a good game, but New Order was just more confident in itself and flowed better.

Other: Victoria 2 and 3.
I like Crusader Kings 3 as well, but the vast majority of my enjoyment in that franchise came out of its predecessor, Crusader Kings 2. So, CK3 is probably 4th for me, but I could likely enjoy it more in the future.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Not having played newer games, I'll go with the original Battlefield 1942. I liked it better than 2 or 2142.
Other Swedish games I've played include Just Cause and RalliSport Challenge.

Hearts of Iron IV wins this one easy for me. 556 hours played.

Also HOIV is Paradox's blockbuster. EU4 is close 2nd, Cities Skyline is next. CK is bit far behind.

I feel unmodded HoI IV is too reliant on the focus tree, and it's extremely unflexible. Some mods have made changes that allow for evolving focus trees, but vanilla is very weak in that regard.

Hence my favorite is still HoI III. Sadly, it doesn't want to run on my current system, so I mainly play mods for IV now, 1211 hours on record so far.

Despite being Swedish myself, the only Swedish game I've played is probably A way Out.

Which was fun playing with a friend. So I'll go with that one.

Battlefield 1942 (with Forgotten Hope mod), game that I've spent, back in days, probably what amounts to thousands of hours playing.

Honorable mentions go to The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Mirror's Edge, Little Nightmares and Steamworld Heist.

An honorable mention needs to go to Stellaris lol. I haven't played in probably 6 or 7 years, but I forgot I still managed to put 400 hours into the game! I haven't much time to play more Paradox games anymore unfortunately. I haven't played since probably 2021 with Hearts of Iron IV, but that's only like 50 hours total. Being a new dad takes away from time sink games like Paradox's lol

I stand corrected! I constantly hear about CK3, so assumed it was the most popular, my bad.

I am not surprised to see Cities Skylines high up, but that is only published by Paradox, not developed, so I didn't consider that one. For the other two I am just genuinely surprised.
