There are plenty of threads out there calling on predictions for Switch 2's launch/first year, but now you get to really put your virtual money where your mouth is (if you're wondering how many VG$ you have it's the number on your profile page, to the right of your avatar).

To take part all you have to do is click one of the links below, enter your predictions for each platform (we're not just predicting Switch 2's figures, but also its impact on the other platforms' sales), and then select an amount to bet from the drop-down box. Those who predict the closest will win VG$ and be immortalised as the best predictors for Switch 2's launch and post-launch.

Looking at it it still seems fixed for LTD rounds, but not for normal weekly rounds.

There was a hard limit of 2000000 (2 million) sales on weekly predictions that we didn't know about. @Bandorr has now lifted that limit for us*, so anyone who wanted to predict more than 2 million sales for Switch 2 on its launch week can now do so.

If you had predicted more than 2 million before the change your prediction will have been hard capped at 2 million, so you will need to now update it if you want to go above that figure.

*to be specific he increased it to 20 million.

My bet is slightly under 2M so I wasn't privy to it.

The recent news about the huge anticipation in Japan lead me to up my prediction a bit to make sure. Should be a fine one nonetheless 👍

I don't have much lol. Can I bet 500 on 2.01-2.25 million? Also, is this all dependant on Nintendo giving the information? What happens if Nintendo doesn't reveal this stat?
