Forums - Gaming - Lunar Remastered Collection is out now!

Tagged games:

My physical copies came in today (yeah, I double-dipped on Switch and PS4/5).

Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar: Eternal Blue are two of my all-time favorite games. I fell in love with them from Working Designs ads for the Sega CD versions, but at the time, I was a SNES kid and didn't have a Genesis or a Sega CD. I still own my PS1 complete-in-box versions, but it is awesome to see these games back in the spotlight. I've started playing through Silver Star Story now.

This is especially cool because Eternal Blue hasn't been available since 2000. Silver Star got mobile iOS/Android ports, as well as a 2002 Game Boy Advance remake and a 2010 PSP remake.

Nice, planning to get it in the future

Only played the GBA (Lunar Legend) and PSP versions of Lunar Silver Star.

I'll finally play them and finish them this time.

I've never had the chance to play the Lunar games before, so I will be getting the collection at some point, once I manage to clear a bit of my backlog at least.

Ordered the physical edition on Switch two days ago, as soon as the listing went up. Super excited!

I did pre-order it, but havent gotten it yet.

Should hopefully be there today. Mine came in early this morning. I pre-ordered as soon as they went up. Camped out on Amazon, lol.

Anyway, they look and sound great.

Amazon.ca was supposed to have it exclusively for Canada but it never came in stock. Something happened between the announcement and now because Video Game Plus is now the exclusive distributer for Lunar in Canada so I ordered my PS4 copy from them last night.

$50 seems a little steep for two old games. Especially for everyone complaining about the Switch 2 game prices. I put it on my wish list on PSN, will probably pick it up when it drops down to the $30 range.

Could not snag the PS4 copy so I went with Series X. Waiting for Amazon delivery today.

I believe some licensing is involved with the translation. Victor Ireland (Working Designs) still owns it.
