Many German DVDs and Blu-rays have reversible covers (you can flip the cover and on its backside ist the artwork without the huge FSK/USK logo on the front and/or some text on the back).

Would be nice if game publishers also used reversible covers.

P.S.: Some 3DS games had them too:

If they were $20 less I'd be much happier.

The text is different on the PAL versions of the Switch 2 Edition games

Oh good, less words ....

But it doesn't make it clearer in my mind. There's also no mention of a mandatory download. So I'll assume there's a real possibility it's just all on the cart.

If you read the text... It's the Switch 1 version of the game with a Switch 2 upgrade pack. - Which is just a code in the box to download an update.
It's not all on the cart.

That's the whole point of the debate. They usually specify the need for a download if it's necessary to the experience. Which isn't here.

Like someone said, the wording is completely imprecise on the matter so we're mostly waiting to see how that ends up on release day.

Anywho, we've got a third party, Rune Factory Azura, doing this exact thing and yet they confirmed the upgrade pack is already on the card.

Why can't Nintendo just confirm if it's all there or separated between a cartridge and the download code of the upgrade pack ?

Since, we've got two different reps saying different things, they don't seem to even know themselves ...

I‘m not paying over 60€ for a game and as usual Amazon.fr comes to the rescue.

Thankfully European retailers routinely undercut rrp and even if my local retailers aren’t yet, they‘ll catch up eventually. I used to buy my Switch games on Amazon.fr and .co.uk early in that systems life as well, until prices equalized two or three years in.
