The final boss (final sequence, in fact) *chef's kiss*

Should we wait one more day before anybody here says who the final boss is?

Spoiler!
I did think about you when I saw him since youve been very vocal about him coming back

I missed him so much!! :(

You can really tell this is the Mario Odyssey/Galaxy guys in that it has the same "introduce a constant stream of cool and clever ideas every level" thing going.

It really keeps things fresh and interesting, I'm in the 10th world now and most games would've settled into a groove of established mechanics by now, but the twists just keep coming.

Brilliant stuff.

Today I beat the final boss, and it's already one of the best boss fights of the year, maybe the best boss fight on Switch 2.

With all the love and nods to Donkey Kong's history put in this game, it really is like an early celebration of Donkey Kong's 45th anniversary. ^^

I like that some of the worlds/layers are just smaller bite-sized breathers rather than full sized.

Ones like Hilltop and Landfill were a nice short and sweet little diversion between the big ones which helped keep the pacing fresh.

DK Bananza has done pretty good in it's first week, so if we get another Donkey Kong game after this what should it be like?

I rolled the Kredits tonight. Goosebumps.
What a masterpiece.
GOTY for sure!

I'm only on the resort world but so far this is the most I've been into a game in a long time. I think the difficulty concerns, which was something I was worried about, were overblown. I limited myself to 3 hearts and the difficulty feels perfect so far.
