Treehouse footage! Game looks fun as hell with how interactive everything is and how powerful it makes DK feel.

This game look ridiculously fun and incredibly polished

Also, I love how you can almost feel how it plays when you watch it. The sense of impact is so strong.

Definitely excited for this one. The first frame immediately made me question, Banjo Kazooie!?

Anyway, one thing I'm not so sold on is the art direction. Looks kinda surreal but not in a pretty way, kind of in a garish way. Like kind of the uglier levels from Banjo Tooie

I wish Grant Kirkhope was doing the music.

One big positive I have with both this and mario kart world is that they both feel like games that would not work on the OG Switch. This is a big criticism I've had with the ps5/seriesX, having very little that didn't just feel like up resed ps4/xbone games in the early years of the consoles.

This is the DK game I've been waiting for since DK64. I'm really tired of this franchise being relegated to throwback sidescroller games. This series deserved to come back to the forefront of platformer design. What made DKC great was it was the most advanced platformer of its time. So, IMO, this game is decades overdue.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

Totally! We have waited a long time for this!

And seeing this makes me hopeful Nintendo let’s us wait for and want the typical franchises that got so much love this gen like Mario and Zelda, and instead focus on some of the less usual franchises like F-Zero and Starfox! I still think Starfox Adventures was a good idea and they should try again.

And also of course they can make Mario too :)

Loving DK's new look! Very expressive!

Ironic that Movie DK says he's more than just a guy who smashes things, considering the key mechanic this game relies on.

Really hope King K Rool is the one pulling the strings with Voidco.

File size is just 10GB:

Thank god Nintendo continues to avoid the file size bloat so many modern games suffer from
