There are like 6 new SKUs in the top 10 this week. Wow. PS5 hardware is down near normal levels again and it looks like Switch weekly sales are stabilizing around 30k.

229 XBSXS units sold is insane. That feels abnormally small for Xbox in JP, no? Also, NSW seems to be surviving. Sitting at 30k certainly is a bit reassuring after last week.

Xbox has never been that big in JP. As I recall, the XB1 was under 100 per week for most of its time in the market.

The PS5 is back to normal now and the Switch goes back up a bit like I thought might happen. Next couple weeks should be similar to this one and then the impact of the Switch 2 marketing going into high gear should start being felt.

That's a shame, doesn't look like MH Wilds will help increase the PS5 baseline at all. The extra 150k in 3 weeks was great, but I was hoping it'd lift the baseline beyond the low-to-mid teens.

Interesting to see Yumia sell better on PS5 and I was expecting more from XCX. Over 35M install base and it still launches with less physical sales than the WiiU version. It really is a niche franchise.

Yeah I was expecting at least 100k from Xeno X. I guess being the 4th game of the series on the Switch while being disconnected from the trilogy really impacted sales.

PS5 pretty much back to 10k+ baseline after four weeks. Expected.

Lots of new games in the top 10 this week, very strangely MK8D is not in there, must have been a slow week for Mario Kart for some reason.
