This is the stuff everyone with a card should do (undervolting).
Esp AMD owners, who seem to leave more headroom (and thus more powerdraw) with their chips.

The fact that you can have it running stable at -100mv offset, and at 82% power curve... is kinda amazing.
I'm guessing not every card out there will do as much (but then set it to like -75mv or whatever your card can handle, and still be stable).
Saving 60watts of power, without performance loss (takes a 315watts down to 255watts, much closer to nvidia cards).

I've first seen in PCGAMESHARDWARE 9070XT review them doing 10% overclock and -150mV undervolting, which produced up to 10% gains in performance over stock.

If you can get a 9070 at MSRP it's really not a bad deal in the current market. But you can always just wait for the market to hopefully re-adjust and expand your options.

German outlet PC Games Hardware took a 9070XT that they both over clocked AND strongly undervolted to get about 12% more performance out of the chip.

Considering how much they managed to undervolt the GPU, I suspect that there are quite some efficiency gains to be made that way.

Developers should cater to the markets, esp on PC.

Unfortunately the standards for game development comes from consoles. All modern consoles, Series S/X, PS5/Pro all are RT capable and all the gaming engines offer RT, so it's just a matter of time before RT is standard in majority of games. 



I am going to stick with nividia. Just get the card from last year becasue the new ones are always up in price

RTX 40 are also heavily inflated right now, actually even more so than Blackwell for some cards. Even AMD GPUs are very expensive now due to stocks drying up.

RTX 40 series pricing is well above MSRP and it only got worse after the story broke about RTX 50 series cards dropping PhysX support.
