There was a ton of stuff in this video.  Here are a couple of things that struck me:

1)  I'm not sure, but I think you can play Pokemon in your sleep now.

2)  Pokemon Legends Z-A is coming late 2025.  Considering this part of the video had a Switch logo in the corner, I am going to guess that this will be a cross-gen title and the big holiday title for 2025.  We probably won't know for sure until the April 2 presentation though.

The battles being real time is a neat change of pace and the extra development time seems to be paying of since Legends Z-A definitely looks better than SV. Gen 10 presumably next year will be the real test but with them being willing to go multiple years without a new big game now and have a 4 year gap between gens instead of 3 makes me somewhat optimistic for it. Nice to see that the worst is likely over. Also them finally making another Stadium like game is good to see since the most recent official Pokemon battling simulator being nearly 20 years old isn't ideal. Though hopefully Showdown remains safe despite this.

And with this looking to be a holiday title this combined with the next 3D Mario would be one hell of a holiday lineup for the Switch 2's first holiday season.

Z-A coming out this holiday means likely 10th gen is coming out next year - hopefully its better than the last two gens.

Late 2025 works for me, im gonna be very busy with MHWilds lmao.

Hopefully its as good - or even better - than Legends Arceus, cause mainline Pokemon games fell hard from grace for me these past 2 gens.

Pokemon lost me at Dexit, so I can only judge it from that perspective.

The thing to me is I can't really get too excited for Champions or Z-A because of it.

With Dexit, it gets its value from having all Pokemon in it, a feature that used to be in ALL mainline games.

For Z-A, I want to enjoy the new battle system as it's what a lot of people have wanted since the beginning, and it's wayyy better than the downgrade battle system of LA, but I want to enjoy this battle system with the full dex including all generational battle gimmicks, not a limited amount of Pokemon. Or at least all the Pokemon from LA too if this is meant to build on that game, with the next game refilling that Legends dex more.

No national dex means these will always have an asterisk. I hated Pokemon XY, but at least those had a national dex.

Honestly can't believe we didn't get a single new pokemon or mega shown in the trailer.

Did Arceus get any new Pokemon? If not, I doubt this one would get a new one.

It did. Tho it was just a few. New evolutions, new forms, and a couple of brand new mons.
