Simple thread, Lets share. If you want to add them in that fine or say where they would be in a seperate list, please do but Soulslike games (I think some team ninja games might count) and recent genre changes like GOW series to open world RPG likes are off the table for my particular list anyway.

That last ones is going to get me in trouble but hey, that games systems and metroid like level design is excellent.

It is one hell of a game to pin down but at the very least I don't think Neir Automata counts as a JRPG, sorry to folks who do count it. It's action narrative at it's core. I don't see what makes it a JRPG aside from having side quests and Stellar ablaze has those. GOW '18 on the other hand is definetly RPG even though it is also narrative driven cause of the progression systems in the game. And how it is structured. I'd be willing to hear people out on Ragnorok counting as a mainly narrative/character action though. 

This would probably have to be my top 5

1) Ninja Gaiden Black
2) Devil May Cry 3
3) Vanquish
4) God of War 3
5) God Hand

I'll throw in Hi-Fi Rush as an honorable mention, but since it's technically a rhythm game, I'll leave it out for argument sake. I almost forgot Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors. First one was good, but I much preferred the action of the sequel. Really wish we could a remaster of those games!

OP's post lists a bunch of non Stylish action games. ok then. I love Stellar Blade but not in that genre. It's more ARPG/Action Adventure. GoW series is not Stylish Action either.

I don't do top 5's in anything.  But I can list some I play the most. Devil May Cry 4,5. Bayonetta 1-2. Metal Gear Rising. Ninja Gaiden 3RE and recently Ninja Gaiden II Black and Hi Fi Rush. Otogi 1-2 are amazing. I love many more games in the genre but those I tend to play the most. Not sure VanQuish counts as it is a Third Person Shooter and my absolute fave TPS ever but it's stylish third person shooting for sure.

Otogi is Remastered. They're on Xbox Store.

Im a bit confused with the thread here because you are asking for action games but immediately filter out a ton of action games.

Those are RPG action games. 

So is Nier Automata. 

Hmm. I'm not quite sure it is though, it has side quests but that's a out it. Stellar Blade has side quests and they all have side activities. It's not an RPG.
