I know there are most wanted threads but I wanted to narrow down on this to three games and see what the vibe is for 2025.

Choose you're top three, only cavite is the games must be confirmed for 2025. 

1. Ghost of Yotei

2. Monster Hunter Wilds

3. Phantom Blade 0

Yeah, I know, no GTA6. I lost hype after looking into who left Rockstar and the core dev team as well as leadership decisions. I wanna have faith and I'm sure it'll be a good game at least but I'm now expecting something soulless and bland no matter how well presented on the story level and that is the most important factor to me with a GTA game. 

Currently as far as confirmed 2025 releases, it would have to be

1. Doom: The Dark Ages

2. Fable

3. The Outer Worlds 2

I'm personally not on the GTA 6 hype train lol. I never was much of a fan of the series. Anytime I would play, it would be mainly to fuck around in the open world which can be fun. I'll just wait for it to come to PC.

Not sure about The outer worlds 2, how can they split the team to make Avowed and this simultaneously. It feels like less faith for both games is deserved.

What do you mean? Obsidian has multiple Lead Directors. They don't have just a single team lol. Hell, Obsidian's most notable Director, Josh Sawyer, isn't involved in either game lol.

They're like Insomniac in that way. Look at the Directors of Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Spider-Man 2, and you'll see different names for each game. Obsidian is built the same way. It's also worth noting that Outer Worlds 2 started development before the first game even released. So they've taken their time with it.

Obviously this list would change with a 3D Mario reveal, a Mario Kart reveal, or something along those line. But for what’s coming down the pike that I know, this is a pretty firm list.

I think all these are technically confirmed for 2025…

1) Metroid Prime 4
The Metroid franchise is one of Nintendo’s best, and the Prime sub-series is one of the great video game trilogies. Despite the shaky development history of Prime 4, I’m optimistic it will be excellent.

2) DOOM: The Dark Ages
The 2016 refresh was outstanding and Eternal was even better. Super excited for this one.

3) Monster Hunter Wilds
A game I’m equally excited for and intimidated by

1.- Monster Hunter Wilds.
