Breath of the Wild is easily the best game.

Long game with great gameplay.


It was the most fun I had on a garbage system like the WiiU.

BOTW was my top pick too, mostly for its dynamic world full of emergent gameplay possibilities; second place for me though goes to Bayonetta 2 for being sheer undiluted fun, just a gloriously outrageous blast of pure dopamine from start to finish.

I want to say Hyrule Warriors. It's extremely fun. Also I don't want to say BOTW, because it released on the Switch's launch date.

Well, seems like BOTW is the winner, but with Xenoblade Chronicles X currently in second place, even above the likes of Tropical Freeze and Mario Kart 8.

The system really did have some amazing games, its just that in between each banger was months of nothingness.
