Forums - Sony - PS Wrapup 2024

What did you play this year on Sony consoles?

https://wrapup.playstation.com/en-us/

Apparently I joined in 2006 and am at trophy level 416.

I played 37 different games (3 PS4 games) in 2024 out of 319 games total since the start of my PSN account.

March was my top gaming month with 106 hours of CyubeVR. 147 hours total in March on 7 games, almost 5 hours a day! (When I start building I easily forget the time but I suspect the time is bloated by leaving VR on 'standby' as in just leaving it on)

May was my lowest months with only 2 hours logged, I tried Sea of Thieves in that month, otherwise no clue what I was doing in May. It's probably the month I subscribed to Gamepass and caught up on some MS games.

That brings my average gaming hours for the summer months to 27, while for the winter months it's avg 103 per month.

My social stats are non-existent (2 messages sent all year lol, 13 hours played online in Sport mode GT7 and trying out Sea of Thieves)

Currently playing Madison VR and Tlou2 remastered on Pro mode.

2 of my top5 games are games I came back to (MHW and Elden Ring). Im unsurprised tbh, both games are an addiction to me.

I am surprised that I played Dragons Dogma 2 that much tho, it didnt feel like it was that many hours to me. But im a bit of a completionist.

1109 hours but only 18 games? No wonder my gamelog is stacked right now.

94% of my games were RPGs according to this. Its my favorite genre sure but I didnt think it was that dominant lmao.

This feels like an intervention lmao

My 80 hours of Stellar Blade didn't make the cut lol. SB is the reason I replayed Nier Automata.

Here's mine

I have to put a major asterisk on both Astro games. I got Plat on Astro Bot in 18 hours and Playroom in 7 hours (including the 4 newly added bots). This was the year that my daughter started playing games, so anything over 18 hours for Astro Bot and 7 hours for Playroom is thanks to my daughter

I'm just now starting to build up my PS4 library, so unless Sony has something else big for 2025 outside of Ghost of Yotei, I imagine games like Wipeout Omega Collection, Patapon remastered, Tearaway Unfolded, or Gravity Rush 2 will make my top 5 next year lol

I though I was a hardcore gamer this past year, turns out I'm not and the hardcore are like close to 3k hours and some exceed it. Everyone seems to be hovering around the same level I am. My own count is 1200 hours which three hours a day and some change. I'll never get close to those people doing 8+ hours a day unless I become bed ridden from an injury or something but I should be able to increase these numbers somewhat next year. Gonna really try and manage my time better next year and I should be able to get around 2000 hours. But I suppose it's what I done with the time that counts, managed to complete 24 games up from 5 or 6 last year. And that accounts for 900 of my hours and got lucky with many games that I ended up loving enough to finish but damn, did I fall off a lot of games. I suppose the high count is because of trying out stuff on PS+ Catalogue at a whim.

I see only having played PlayStation games on Steam means I don't get a PS wrap-up.

My PlayStation games on Steam I played in 2024:

  • God of War Ragnarök - 47.5 hours and unlocked 28 of 48 achievements unlocked.
  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - 12.6 hours and 40 of 47 achievements unlocked.

I just purchased Spider-Man: Miles Morales as it was 50% off, but likely won't get to it until next year. Once they are discounted enough I plan on buying Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Forbidden West as well.

Idk how someone manages 10 hours of gaming per day. Even if you had zero else going on, that's a wild feat but many posting on twitter have 3000+ hours. I don't think I'd like gaming if I did that, I' do get into weekend sessions where I do long stretches but doing that every day is unthinkable, it would make you very ill.

Same here. I rarely game for more than 2-3 hours in a session.

I probably have around 3000 across all platforms including retro consoles. It helps to be an insomniac lol. I only sleep like 4-5 hours every day. Just been like that my entire life. Up all night. Go to sleep about 6am. wake up 10-11 am.
