Basically a coup attempt by the deeply unpopular President but the parliament just voted 190/190 to suspend martial law (only 150 needed) so now the President will likely be declared a criminal. Now as long as the military stand down and respect the law, the President will be fucked in one of the shortest lived coups ever.

All soldiers who entered the main building of the National Assembly have left.
Hope the next step is impeachment and arresting Yoon.
Even his own party leader was against it.

Love to see the citizens uniting against this coup attempt, some attempting to block the military from entering (before the vote).

Though it seems like the military's hearts weren't in it either, I think if they wanted to they could have easily forced their way in.
Might end up being one of the worst coup attempts ever, lets hope that is the case.

Citizens outside shouting "ARREST YOON SUK YOL"
Office of the Speaker has said all military has left the National Assembly building. MBC confirms all military personnel and equipment have left the back plaza behind the National Assembly main building.
This clown didn't even block media before his coup attempt who straight up broadcasted the parliament voting to lift the martial law.
the cheer rn is "The people are victorious."

At a glance it seems almost as foolish as Castillo's self-attempted coup in Peru in 2022. We'll see how things evolve tomorrow.
