Forums - Gaming - Since the Switch Lite can be played on a TV, does that make it a home console?

Genuinely curious what everyone thinks about this. You can play your Switch Lite on a TV via screen mirroring on your phone. Does this make it a home console like the OG Switch, PS2, and PSP 2.0? Or is it still considered a handheld since it is primarily used and marketed as a handheld?

Any similarities to other posts is purely coincidental, as this is a genuine question for everyone here and I haven't seen this discussed before.

This makes the GameCube the second worst selling Nintendo handheld, only the virtual boy has sold worse.

No, the Switch Lite is still a handheld console, but it's cool to see you can do that with it!

No the real question is whether the Xbox One is a guitar amplifier.

Feel free to call me a moron if this is a truly stupid take, I won't be offended

Virtual boy is attached to the head, need a stand to place on a hard surface, dont come with a battery (need to stay plugged to a external energy source) and its considered a handheld....
What am I missing???
