Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Best New IP on Switch?

The Switch is nearing the end of its lifespan. What do you think is the best original IP to debut on Switch.

It could be 1st or 3rd party, exclusive or multiplatform.

The only criteria are that it be a new IP that premiered after the Switch launched.

What's your pick?

Astral Chain

It oozes style from every pore, its a blast to play, and its flashy exterior hides considerable depth

Yup Astral Chain is my pick. Second might be Octopath.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Does Mario+Rabbids counts?

The 99 series is by far my most played of the new series.
Runner up would be Ring Fit, which is kind of a spiritual successor to Wii Fit.
Arms rounds out the top 3.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Mario + Rabbids

Exclusives-wise, Astral Chain for me. Triangle Strategy is fine as well.

Of non exclusives im a sucker for Unicorn Overlord. Thats my GOAT this year.

Multiplatform wise, Unicorn Overlord was utterly fantastic that released this year!

Exclusive wise, I would say Mario + Rabbids, but I don't think that counts lol so Astral Chain would be my pick.

Since both Astral Chain and Triangle Strategy have been mentioned, I'm gonna say Game Builder Garage.
Every "tutorial" game was super fun to create thanks to how intuitive and how much personality the whole thing oozes. I also spent tons of hours doing my own little games. Not always amounted to something, but It was fun nonetheless.

I hope they give it another try on the Switch 2 with more optiona and specially a higher object limit. It was the main thing that was holding it back from being the best affordable and easy to use "game engine".
