Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Got Sports Story for $5 recently. When it came out everyone complained that it had a lot of bugs and glitches in it...and 3 years later it still does. The characters are still good from Golf Story, and the golf is still fun, but some of the sports just feel tacked on. While I had enough fun with it, it just made me want to play through the fantastic Golf Story for a third time.

I finished Expedition 33 for the second time and i was craving another good RPG. After some research i found out about Battle Chasers Nightwar. 43 hours later and I'm hooked.

OMG, I loved this game back in the day, it was so much fun. Janky but so, so fun.

I am in the middle of Last of Us Remastered. The game is like Uncharted with stealth. A bit boring but i will complete it.

Absolum is a masterpiece! Quickly jumping up my GOTY list. Dotemu is quickly becoming one of my favorite publishers.

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

I have played a video game! Stop the presses, I know.

The lucky game is The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. It had been in its shrink wrap long enough finally. So far I’ve gotten through the first dungeon. It’s fun enough for what it is, but I do feel like this shouldn’t be too long a game or else it will get repetitive. I like the look a lot though, same with the Link’s Awakening remake, the plastic toy aesthetic really works.

In lieu of Little Nightmares 3 releasing and it being spooky season I decided to replay through the first two games. Played all 3 on the NS2.

Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition plays and looks amazing, nostalgia hit hard with that one. The citizens chase still is easily one of the best moments in an indie game I’ve played. Unfortunately super short game tho coming in at 2.43hrs. Tarsiers ability to create an oppressive and bleak atmosphere make them one of the best out there. 8/10

Little Nightmares 2 joins the list of those extremely rare sequels that took the franchise to a level it’ll never be reached again. LM2 feels a fucking journey through despair and that ending is pure perfection. Took around just over 6hrs to get through it, loved every second of it. One of my favourite indie games ever. 9.5/10

Little Nightmares 3. Super Massive .. what a miss. For a studio that only makes choice based horror games how do they make a game in an established franchise and completely fumble it. It’s the most corporate, check by check indie game I’ve played in a while. No urgency in its gameplay, its atmosphere adds zero tension and its monsters add zero horror. It’s 3 (?) small levels feel completely disjointed from each other that it feels like your playing a DLC not a full game. I liked the characters tho and that ending kinda caught me off guard. But man, I pray and beg Super Massive don’t Deck Nine this franchise and if they make a LM4 they go back and realise what made the first 2 great, I don’t need a game that tops LM2 I just need a Little Nightmares that feels like it wasn’t made by the HR department. 4/10

I was on the fence about LN3, wanted to buy Switch1 version (being proper Game Card, not GKC like Switch 2 version) for my son who's big fan of LN1&2, but you're mini review just convinced me to wait for big discount and hope that REANIMAL from actual creators of Little Nightmares comes sooner than later.

There are tons of heavy-hitting indies dropping recently. Should definitely give some of those a shot. Bubsy 3D as well.

Just finished another 100% playthtough of crash 3, this time the original ps1 version again. Definitely the easiest of the three, except for the platinum relics. After finishing it so many times I'm still learning new things. Had no idea that if you held down at the same time as left/right on the dpad you could turn the jetski tighter.

Also playing megabonk because I'm too old to have to pay attention and actually think when I play a game. Brain switch off time.
