Finally got a game to gel after Stellar Blade. Ff7 remake. This is my third time giving this game a try and I finally understand it now and found the games rythym. You have to be laid back with it or else it's not gonna gel. People complain about the side stuff but I'm enjoying doing everything. Is it the ten people profess, probably not but it's worth giving a decond or third chance to cause it's actually quite a good time. The amount of games that I've started but haven't progressed though is worrying, I hope I get back to them and find a way to make them gel too.

Music is fantastic, great with headphones. Kinda feels stretched out but as long as you feel the pace it's a good thing. Looking forward to Rebirth now, mini games and all.

Tried Remake on the PS4. But could not get comfortable with it. It was the battle system.

I felt I needed Chameleon eyes. Keeping my eyes on the stats in the left corner, the stats in the right corner, on the movement on the screen, what my party members were doing while at the same time being bombarded with flashes and numbers. Half the time I did not feel in control.

I know the battle system was lauded by critics and this is a ME PROBLEM for sure and not a fault of the game, but it was not for me.

I had the same problem, I find it pretty good now though even though it'd be nice if AP carried over through fights. Thing is, there's not a lot of fighting in the game unless you're doing die quests. The main problem I have with this game is everything needs to be slowed down and stretched out, like the hobbit trilogy and unless you're doing side quests it just has this feeling of a walking simulator. You can tell they really try to stretch this out and it shows in a really negative way. Things that are completely pointless could be cut and it'd be a better game. I'd like to see a directors cut when the trilogy release so you can play just the classic FF7 story progression and I think it'd be a better game. Not everything game needs to be long to justify it as an RPG and like Atlus games I find extending length to be a worse sin than bloating a game for scope.

Still, it's quite enjoyable if you accept it's a slow burn. I can't recommend it though if you didn't gel with the combat, you could stick it on easy cause normal is just more sponget enemies anyway. I'm thinking of doing just that cause I need the games pace to quicken up a bit.

About to start Mario & Luigi:Brothership and I'm really excited! Next year I'm probably going to replay Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in anticipation for Xenoblade Chronicles X, which is one of my top 3 games of all time! Switch still has a lot of juice on it.

Replayiing Bayonetta 1 on Series X

Also playing Transformers Devastation on PS5.

A little Bujingai on PS2 with international superstar GACKT!

Almost everything in FF7 remake happens not to entertain you but to slow you down. For such an enjoyable experience it sure is doing everything to make you frustrated to the point of constantly slowing down the character or causing setpieces not for spectacle but simply to clock your path. Very disappointed in this regard. They could easily have made this game more concise and and cut off a lot of fat and it would ve better for it. This is the game equivalent of the Hobbit films, great and all but really needs a directors cut and a shorter experience by someone who knows where to cut the fat and shorten some stuff into cutscenes.

Bayonetta 1 is a blast. I have Bayonetta 3 sitting on my switch but no urge to boot it up yet.

Been playing Tearaway Unfolded after picking it up on Sony’s 30th anniversary sale and man, this is the kind of uniqueness and creativity I miss from Sony games that I feel has been missing. I think I prefer the Vita version still but I really enjoy the way they implemented traditional controller support.

Bayo 3 has different vibes. It's kinda odd but still a great game. None of the games have a great story and 3 is no different. Still fun as hell. Not the best-performing Switch game tho.

PoE2 and marvel rivals are great. Having a lot of fun with both
