It's fine I guess and in some cases even cool with certain features if they are used well. However, I tend to switch off the feedback because for me it seems to be a distraction more than anything else. Ironically, what is intended to be immersive is actually a little immersion breaking for me. When the controller suddenly starts vibrating, it kind of reminds me that it's a video game. Maybe it's just me.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean, it's like VR being so immersive but being reminded cause you have a big weighty helmet on and you can never get fully immersed as the tech could provide. Haven't felt it with duel sense aside from sometimes when you move from a bit of gameplay with haptics to a bit that doesn't and the controllers inner workings all click off but I know what you mean but back in the day with duelshock it caused the same issue. It was so intrusive at first but everyone got used to it to the point that you didn't even notice it anymore unless you out the controller down on a hard surface.

Playing Hot wheels now, was free on PS+ monthly games and just adding a small bit of tension to the triggers, such a minory use for it and it helps so much with balancing break and accelerator. Whoever thought of this is a genius. Racers and shooters are greatly enhanced by this tech even when it's very subtle. It's phenomenal. I turned off haptics in the controller menu and Hot wheels isn't just less fun it's also less easy to feather the throttle. I really hope there's a rally game on the way that use this, I'd probably choose the controller over the wheel.

The little bumps when you hit a wall and feeling the circuit underneath the wheels is cool too. Not really game changing like the trigger but very nice indeed.

Bought WRC Generatopns and the haptics in it are amazing. I knew this would work for rally, I now prefer this over my wheel that has no feed back. Very cool.

I would say its a game changer. Its an evolution of the traditional controller layout that pushes immersion forward.

While not every game is going to be a standout like Astro Bot and Returnal, the majority of third party developers utilize the features, and that helps when it comes to streamlining the feel of it to higher standards.

I don't play racing games nowadays, but I decided to download Hot Wheels just to experience the adaptive triggers lol!

Dualsense literally spoiled me, hands down the best controller ever.

It's a next gen controller going from the dualshock 4.

Xbox Series controller is more of a refinement of the Xbox One controller,

Definitely. I'm innawe of it, aside from those sharp edges on the inside of the arm grips which is it's only flaw I can see it's perfect. I'd even buy the premium upgrade but it would really suck if something that costs 199 broke.

Pity they don't use the motion features. It's almost like they don't exist but definitely the most next gen feeling I've gotten from ps5 has been the controller by far.
