I think cross-gen games should be included. I'm sure most were expecting them to be eligible for this thread since they weren't in the PS4 thread. Plus i'm sure some people mentioned cross-gen games in the previous threads like Metal Gear Solid V. So it's fair to have them here.

Anyways my picks are...

Games that released after the PS5 came out should definitely not be discounted.
I will pick God of War Ragnarok if it's valid.
Otherwise I'll pick Astro Bot.

Since cross-gen games are a no go, that slims down the choices quite a bit.
Because my favourite game from the last 10 years remains FF VII Remake and that game was made even better on PS5.

That being out of the way, here goes my personal favourites from this gen only:

- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
- Astro Bot
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
- Returnal
- The Last of Us Part 1
- Final Fantasy XVI
- Stellar Blade
- Demon’s Souls

Nice list. People look at that and say PS5 has no games. It's purely delusional or they're just super picky and none of those appeal to them. 

The new Astro Bot and Demon Souls Remake is very impressive, but my favorites are Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted 4, Last of Us 1/2, Persona 5, Yakuza Zero and some PS2-Games in PlayStationStore. I would love to say "Ghost of Yotei", "GTA 6" and "Death Stranding 2", but they won't be released until the of 2025 :D I think 2025 and 2026 will be the biggest gaming years in the last 7 years. And I'm really looking forward to a new "Naughty Dog" and "Bluepoint Games" game.

I'll be honest, deciding to scrap this idea for poll of the week. There are just too many variables for what belongs in this generation vs what doesn't and we're only halfway through (maybe slightly further) this gen so it's a bit more unfair than other categories.

Rachet and Clank Rift Apart

Okay. Games that aren't on 8th gen, I've played a lot of them now and Stellar Blade is the best so far. I'm still in the middle of Astrobot but I'm not seeing the 10/10 in this one, it's a bit over rated. Good game but nothing, like all else I've played has anything on Stellar Blade, it's very nearly a perfect video game. Second would probably be Rift Apart, while not a 10 either it's mindless fun. 

Wasn't a fan of Demon Souls either. I love Souls games but I don't something about it just wasn't grabbing me. 

I give it to Returnal.
