PS5 UI gets sluggish over time. Not super slow but can take a hot second to load some features. I have a lot of games on it so that's why. My Series X on the other hand despite the SSD being more than 80 percent full. Still snappy UI.

Strange, I've filled it already to the point where it won't allow me to use the last 50 or so gigs and have my HDD plugged and have been using a usb stick to dragon stuff over from my ps4 in with no slow down at all. It all just works silky smooth which is a gigantic step up from the PRO. I can't remember if the PRO was that sluggish at launch or if it was firmware over time. I'm sure the ps5 will suffer the same, perhaps it just happens with age. Installing things and deleting things constantly, I know, takes a toll on HDD so I wonder is it the same for SSDs.  🤔

Sorry to say but nothing wows me anymore.
And deff not graphics.
Gameplay most of the time is bland and copy paste.
Well the size of the ps5 wowed me?

The load time.

Looking forward to the load time for the PS6 lol

This

Just love how fast it is compared to PS4.

Lighting in Demon and smoothness of 120 hz in Rift.

A few sequences in FFXVI were simply insane. Worth playing for those moments alone.

I think for me it's just been the smoothness of everything. From the UI to the fast loading times and whatnot. I don't think the machine has been really challenged graphically yet, because the usual first party suspects that normally push the Playstation to its limits have been busy shitting the bed with failed multiplayer projects.

Cyberpunk actually looking good and feeling good to play is legit a mindblowing moment, I've had and the use of the duel sense. I was not expecting it to be that good of a step up. Gonna wipe my saves and replay it through the way it was intended, after I get done with returnal and Metaphor.

Astro's Playroom was the first game on PS5 that floored me with its demonstration of the Dualsense. I would also say Returnal utilizes the controller incredibly well from the couple of hours I've played. Load times have also been incredibly quick this generation.

Overall, there were moments in Rift Apart, Final Fantasy 16, and SpiderMan 2 that gave me that next generation feeling. I feel like traversal has taken a massive step up compared to the PS4 as well. I think back on the flying of Gravity Rush 2, and even HFW, that felt clunky and cumbersome, compared to the freedom and speed with the flying in SpiderMan 2.

Astro's playroom is cool and all for the duelsense but there's really no need for it to be that nuanced that every surface feels different but in returnal it actually changes how the game feels to play, I turned it off when I was running low on battery and the game felt worse for it. Same in Cyberpunk with driving and shooting, changes the game and is by definition a game changing feature and upgrade and as some have mentioned it's the same as HD Rumble in the switch joy cons, it most certainly is not, it's so much more than that.

I haven't seen the SSD be a game changer yet aside from instant fast travel in The Witcher 3 and kinda noticeable with load times but I've yet to play Rift Apart and SM2. I hope to be the same as you and get the next gen feel from Smiperman 2, I'll look forward to it.
