Twitter, Discord, other social media sites, heck I swear I saw haxxiy mention the phrase before. 

Chud isn't specifically tied to era, it was more or less spawned from the Gigachad/Chud meme. It just so happens that left leaning types like to use Chud as a means of mocking someone on the other side of the fence, ie: "fuck them Trump chuds".

You will find sites like Era or Twitter using that phrase a lot though. I just see it as a bit of a self-tell, based on how it is used with it's context. 

Ah I see, I thought it was just some group lingo. So all those chuds that call out are right wingers in their eyes even when they're clearly not.
