Dropped to 82 on Opencric. Ouch.

Yeah.......wasn't the win for BioWare I was hoping it would be. I'm sure it'll still be good, but not something at the level BioWare used to be.

From what I've read they seem to have followed God of War new gameplay formula, which is a weird choice. GoW with a party. Hmm. Idk about that.

I loved DAO. DAII sucks. DAI was average. This looks wrong from the horrible art style to the combat looks meh.. Plus it's EA I don't trust them with physical games. So no. Avoiding this one.

I agree about veilgaurd but DA:I is really good on the highest difficulty, I had to do a second playthrough for the platinum and the difficulty really brought out some cool features of the game with the pause combat and itemization particularly.

Side quests go nowhere and they're terrible in DAI. Regions are empty and you can clear them out with no enemy respawns. That's lame and the combat was dumbed down from DAO. It's full action. It's no longer turn-based like DAO. DAO your action was based on dice roll making it turn based (many forms of turn based combat not just selecting from a menu) Pinging for items is so tedious when Xenoblade did it so much better. DAI just felt like they dumbed it down it down for a wider audience.

I'll give you the side quest yeah but that's why you knock it up to the highest difficulty which makes you have to pause the game and essentially turns it into a turn based game, kind of a mix between real time pause and turn based, I'd really recommend it. Makes a solid 8/10 game and ups it to like a 9/10. In my opinion anyway.

Posts like this make me wish being gay was airborne so people like you would catch it. Most games use some sort of consulting firm. It's how you avoid accidental nazis symbols or how Nintendo could have avoided having to reprint OoT on N64 due to the fire temple music. It's not forcing agendas. It's just trying to avoid a fuck up.

While I agree the top scars are a bit much, Trans people should use magic in the DA universe and that'd be cool, I'd support that the scars do take you out of the fantasy but have you played DA:I, lol? It's very gay and it done it well too, nothing was forced about it.

Skill up does not reccomend. "A colossal disappointment". "50 hours a desperately wish I could get back". Ouch.

Damn, MattyPlays giving the game a scathing review. Insane to think as he's always been a massive BioWare fan.

He's even calling out EA/BioWare for being untruthful in their preview presentation, that he actually came out of with very positive impressions. Not that I was going to be playing at launch anyway because I'm studying for a test for work over the next few weeks, so I was putting the game off at least till December or January, but disheartening to see that this wasn't the homerun BioWare honestly needed. Who knows how many more chances EA is going to give them. So we'll see how well the game sells.

Like I said in the OP, it's getting a journalist bump, Bioware employees have lots of friends in journalism and the bioware influencer base. After seeing Skill ups and MrMatty plays I'm inclined to believe I was correct that they are bumping it.
