Sounds fantastic. Might go straight to this actually. Cheers for the tip, man!

The anime adaptations don't do Berserk justice at all, the manga is an actual masterpiece, it's filled with art that should be exposed in art galleries.

If you are into manga I strongly recommend you go read it instead of watching it.

The stuff Guts has been through on Berserk is something on it's own unique level of fuckery, there is nothing else like it.

I consider it the best manga ever made, sadly the author died without finishing it, a friend of his that knows the full story to the ending is leading his team to finish it, but it has been slow and it looks like they are afraid to make mistakes that screw it up so there is very little dialogue going on since the author died.

The 1997 one is great.

GUTS theme alone sells it

Like I said tho it only covers Golden Arc.

Ok what the fuck.

Spoiler!
There is a Soul Hacker. Persona. Devil Summoner Archytypes. Devil Summoner summons SMT demons. Yeah bullshit this isn't a SMT spinoff.

Side note

It's taking too long for another magic focused party member joing the team

Strohl, Hulkenberg and Heismay are all ill suited to magic Archetypes. I'm focusing all my magic Archetypes on my MC as he's my only reliable Magician, Healer and Seeker, the problem is I actually want him as Merchant to farm money...

I made hulkenburg my healer cause they all heal for the same regardless of steer stats, at least it's very close to be barely noticeable, after you unlock the higher teir healer archetype that's what makes the difference.

I've never been stuck for money in this game either and I buy every piece of tip teir gear I see straight away from the shops as soon as I enter town.

I also made her as Healer but she's just better as Knight. Tanking is too important in this game, many enemies abuse AoE attacks and some of her abilities negate this pressure. Plus before Faker she was the only one who could debuff bosses (essential in this game where bosses have huge HP pools and can dispatch you quickly)

To unlock Mage Knight I needed to train her as Magician too, I've found her sub-par compared to my MC

Lucky me I actually prioritized Magic and Agility with the MC though, he's the heart of my party

I like they give us Almighty skills in early game inside of typical drain HP/MP

It really aliviates the pressure of both having enough elemental/physical skills to hit invulnerable enemies

In other SMT and Persona games Almighty damage are always mid to late skulls that cost insane amount of MP and do slightly worse damage compared to regular skills

I also enjoyed how archetype system can make your MP management more lenient and still make members of your party useful. In Persona every time my MP ended I knew it was time to get out of the dungeon and call it a day. Here is your Warrior MP ending? No problem, Switch to Brawler and keep going!

I really love Heismay

He's s nice departure to the "retired honorable warrior" archetype

So far the 3 party members looks all like new angles of JRPG tropes, and this is very refreshing considering you need to spend 99% of your game close to them lol. I also like your MC is not silent

Junah though... I really hope they give more depth to her once she joins because she looks exactly like an standard boring lolicon waifu

I have my eye on Mage knight aswell, I had her as a mage so she's already leveled there, just need another few points in knight. The "job" sounds really cool but lord knows, could be a magic buff the party kinda job... again, another one.

Unlike Persona, you cannot end the game early. This game makes you wait. I maxed out all I wanted to, so I'm just killing time with 20 days to go.

I wonder is it possible to max everything so, I know there's a trophy for maxing all followers but that might take away time from maxing Royal virtues.
