This is partly about the outage but I also find it funny SP games that require online to install or play. Cannot be played right now. Can PS5 slims work when the disc drives need to authenticate? I was playing SMTV and didn't even notice at first since I'm playing my disc copy. Thoughts?

I've been playing Star rail, ZZZ, Genshin and Tekken 8 just fine just couldn't buy stuff in the shops. All my games are digital already installed

Usually when an outage happens with PSN or Xbox Live it's the home console game library sharers that can't access their digital games as it has to check online for your license when you launch a game but if you are on your set home console you can play them when the network is down.

It happened to me early this year

You have to wait the network comeback and allow offline play

Then you can play without internet connection

I'm playing Pacific Drive right now, hopefully it's still playable.

I play digital games while offline all the time. Not an issue.
