Uncharted 2 for me, TLOU and both GTA's where also great.
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
TLOU, Demon Souls, Uncharted 2 and 3, God of War 3, Resitance 2 and 3, Metal Gear Solid 4 would be my picks.
Probably Mass Effect makes the list.
Dead Space is good.
I have a soft sport for Ni No Kuni 1, its so good.
The Bioshocks
I dunno theres a lot to pick from.
If this was about the most remarkable PS3 games (subjectively) or my favourite PS3 games, I might answer otherwise, but of the ones I've played so far, I believe one rises above all others to be the best: Uncharted 2. I don't think it's even a close one, but do keep in mind that I've certainly missed a lot of games, played many PS3-era games on PC only, and if there are games that don't appeal to me all that much even though they're (somewhat) objectively speaking great, I'm not going to bring them up in a discussion like this.
Best game: Bioshock
Best exclusive: Uncharted 2
Best series: Uncharted
Red Dead Redemption
Fallout 3
Metal Gear Solid 4
The Last of Us
Bioshock Infinite
Resident Evil 5
Metal Gear Rising Revengence
Batman Arkham Asylum
Batman Arkham Knight
Infamous 2
Dead Space 2 (and maybe 1)
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
Uncharted 2 (and maybe 1)
Uncharted 3
Resistance 2 (and maybe 3)
Dead Island, Ni No Kuni, Fallout New Vegas & Modern Warfare 2 may make this list too.
I never got round to Playing God of War 3, Mass Effect Trilogy, Dishonoured 1 & 2, Demon/Dark Souls games. These would probably make the list too.
It's really hard to choose one because the 7th gen had so many great games particularly the PS3. I'd probably choose Red Dead Redemption, Fallout 3, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid 4 or Bioshock Infinite.
I remember voting for Red Dead Redemption for game of the generation, this was over 10 years ago now but it was still a hard choice.
I have (or have/had in the household): ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amiga, NES, Sega Master System, Super Nintendo, Sega Megadrive, Gameboy, Playstation, Nintendo 64, Windows 95, Gameboy Colour, Windows 98, Sega Dreamcast, Gameboy Advance, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Windows XP, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, Windows Vista, iPhone, Windows 7, 3DS, Wii U, PS4, Windows 10, PSVR, Switch, PS5 & PSVR2. :D
and I Don't have: Magnovox Odyssey, Any Atari's, Any Macintosh computers, Sega Gamegear, Virtual Boy, Sega Saturn, N-gage, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PSP, PSVita & Andoid Phone. Plus any non-mainstream consoles/platforms I haven't mentioned.
My favorites are:
Ratchet and clank: A crack in time
Uncharted 2
God of war 3
Littlebigplanet 2
The Last of Us
Also Resistance, Warhawk, and Starhawk were great multiplayer experiences i wish Sony would do something with them.
axumblade said: I'm probably the only one that remembers called 3D Dot Game Heroes. |
Oh I remembered it too, one of my favorite games for the PS3, loved it so much I had to platinum it. Was so crazy when you could upgrade your final sword where it literally takes up the entire screen when you attack lol
Other games on this list for me would be:
- Uncharted 2
- The Last of Us
- God of War 3
- Batman Arkham City
- Ni No Kuni
