Forums - Gaming Discussion - What's the most number of times you've beaten a game?

Maniac Mansion, Zak McKracken, The Secret of Monkey Island, LeChuck's Revenge... at least 20x each

Almost never nowadays. I might play some really good game again, though, if there's not much on my backlog.

All are estimates:

Resident Evil 4 - 30 times (all on GameCube)
Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider II - 25 times each, all secrets (on PS1, PC, and Switch)
Super Mario Bros 3 - 25 times (SNES version, on various consoles)
Super Mario World - 25 times, 96 exits (on various consoles)
Super Mario 64 - 25 times, 120 stars (on various consoles)
Yoshi's Island - 25 times, 100 on all levels (on various consoles)
Super Mario Sunshine - 20 times, 120 Shines (mostly on Gamecube)
Resident Evil 1-3 - 15 times (originals versions, RE1 on PS1, 2-3 on PS1 and Gamecube)
Tomb Raider III - 15 times, all secrets (on PS1, PC and Switch)
Dino Crisis - 10 times (PS1)
Dino Crisis 2 - 10 times (PS1)
Donkey Kong Country - 10 times, 101% (SNES)
Resident Evil (remake) - 10 times (Gamecube)

Then there's something like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and 3, where I've got 100% on career mode probably 50+ times, although for each individual skater it'll only be 3-4 times at most.

That's hardcore.  Respect 👊

Off the top of my head
Luigi's Mansion - Beat it at least twice, maybe even four times.
Fire Emblem: Awakening - Beat the final boss twice and a third partial playthrough
Stardew Valley - Kind of cheating here but got Grandpa's evaluation twice. That's one of the closest things to "beating" Stardew Valley other than getting all the collectibles which I never have.
Persona 5 Royal: Got the platinum twice (PS4 and PS5)
Persona 4 Golden: Beat it on PS Vita and PS4.
Telltale Walking Dead games: Twice each
The Wolf Among Us - PS4 and Xbox 360
Marvel's Spider-Man: Beat the main quest twice.

Batman Telltale: PS4 and PS3

Just Cause 2: Xbox 360 and PS3

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 48 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

I'm still waiting for them to port fire Emblem Awakening. You're one who thinks it better than 3 houses? Also, beating Just cuase 2 twice is pretty nuts, that's a lotta blowing shit up.

Yes and yes. I prefer Awakening over Three Houses mainly because I prefer the story and characters over Three Houses and yes it's a lot of blowing stuff up in Just Cause. Never played the first and don't know if I'll ever get back to 4 because I don't like the changes to the formula.

3 and 4 aren't as good, you're not missing out JC2 was the height of the series.

There was a time when I was speedrunning Super Metroid and therefore finished that game multiple times a day. I guess that would be my top spot. I love replaying games in general, I think second runs are much more fun.

I’ve done OOT at least ten times 100%. It’s probably the game I revisit the most out of any. In terms of “big” games, The Witcher 3 I’ve completed twice. There will absolutely be a third and probably more times.

I have to agree, NG+'s on Soulsborne are always more fun. Sekiro in particular.
