The PS5 Pro is rumored to release this Holiday, and the reveal can happen anytime this month. Maybe we'll see some light as soon as the next days.

Should be a great piece of tech, but hard to be excited for considering it barely still feels like this generation has even started.

Not to mention, I can’t imagine what the price is going to be. PS4 Pro was $400 at launch. PS5 Pro is potentially looking to cost a couple hundred dollars more than that at a time where inflation, currency fallout, and greedy price gouging has taken over many people’s lives. And with so many people still on last gen systems, it’s hard to tell how well it will do. Although I certainly don’t doubt there will be people that will willingly get into credit card debt just to get a Pro in time for GTA VI lol. Still looking forward to seeing the reveal, but I’ll be sticking to my current PS5.

Definitely getting this around holidays and giving my PS5 slim to my niece/nephew

I'm not interested given I went PC for the extra performance gains. But to be fair consoles still are king when it comes to "bang for the buck." I suspect the Pro will be a good upgrade, certainly if I was looking to buy into the ps5 for the 1st time, I would wait and go Pro. Rumor has it the memory bandwidth is going to see a 30% increase.

I have never been interested in pro-models and will skip this round as well. I think the next Sony console I will buy is Playstation 7. Seeing as PS4 still get releases and the difference (to me) is smaller and smaller. I imagine being able to play games on my regular PS5 far into the next generation.

I'll probably buy one only because I don't own a standard PS5. But the prices going up and up is making me consider sticking with PC for the whole generation, and maybe upgrading my GPU to PS5 Pro spec (My current GPU is a 1060 6GB).

For 600 euro (doubt PS5 pro will be cheaper) you should be able to get a pretty good GPU. Something like a RTX4070. Which also gives access to DLSS 3.7 and frame gen.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I have a computer rig with a 4070, it will easily outclass the ps5.  It is quite a nice GPU with all the DLSS support.  A 4060 will probably be dead on the ps5 output, but jumping to a 4070 is a great choice.

Need more info on price, size, capability before deciding between the Pro and the Slim.

I hope we get Cerny talking about the Pro for at least an hour. That's the dream.

I guess people, who actually want PS5 Pro, will buy it eventually despite some issues with it. I guess in the end of life cycle PS5 pro's lifetime sales will be 10% part of whole PS5s. Like 10+ mil out of 100+.
