I would feel embarrased, if someone seen me play a kid focused game...

Children's game no. But a game with scantly clad anime girls, I would not play in public. At my age, I would easily be confused as 'dirty old man'.

This.  Like playing a Dead or Alive game (especially that volleyball game) just feels like a mix of desperation, loneliness, and a lot of creep.

I wouldn't even play them in private, much less with others watching.

Define childish feeling please, I don't think that everyone understands the same by that

Ni no Kuni 2 is the perfect example, the game is obviously not focused at kids on a systems level but on the surface it looks to be, the dialogue is cringe etc. It's hard to define but I think most people would look at Minecraft and say that's a kids game.

Hmmm, okay then.

I play Princess Maker 2 and Recettear without any feelings of shame, so I guess it's a no

I'd be more embarrassed if I saw someone playing Neptunia games or those weird creepy senran kagura/Gal Gun games. I just expect people who play those to own stained body pillows.

Oh and anyone who played BMX XXX or The Guy Game.

I wouldn't feel shame playing a game with sexy women in it either to be honest.
Again, life's too short to give a fuck what strangers think of me. It's completely normal, healthy, and natural to enjoy looking at sexy people and I refuse to be ashamed of that.

You are correct in this regard but the games that cater to that field tend to be of lesser quality, often greatly so.  And the availability to look at sexy people for free online is ubiquitous.

It's not the shame of looking at scantily clad sexy people by itself.  It's the fact they paid upwards to $60 for sub-par gameplay and sub-par sexiness that makes it shameful.

I mean I wouldn't pay for a bad game just to look at sexy characters, but a game having beautiful people in it doesn't necessarily mean it's bad.

Plenty of good games have sexy babes in them; Bayonetta 1-3, Stellar Blade, Nier Automata, Witcher 3...

Not the same thing.   Look at the games Leynos referenced.

I wasn't talking about what Leynos said. (Haven't played those games so can't comment on them) The conversation started on the previous page with Tober.

If I wanna play a game with sexy women in it then I will do so, and feel no shame. There's nothing wrong with enjoying adult entertainment.

Being attractive is one thing, but I find kinda distracting (when not altright creepy) when games focus too much on the bodies of their characters in a sexual way. Seems like a thing to catch porn obsessed people, mostly

I prefer when things are optional. In Baldurs Gate they made a party of hot alluring  companions (Shadowheart, Astarion, Minthara, Halsin...) and you can literally fuck them in game (there is even Furry sex), if you want, but it's mostly optional and you can skip the romance and sex if you're not interested

Same but the stuff I mentioned is downright creepy. Esp BMX XXX and The Guy Game (one girl was underage and so the game was pulled..oh and the game was directed by former Retro Games founderJeff Spangenberg) Gal Gun you shoot questionable ages girls to remove panties and Senran it's mino games to feel them up. That is just nasty creepy weirdo stuff to me.
