No, hate is an emotional response; I don't have any emotions about Trump.

Logically, one should not be voting for a narcissistic bully who doesn't like to read.

No emotions required.

I do, I hate the guy. 😁

Same here. There are objective measures by which Trump is unfit for office, but he is also a loathsome excuse for a human being.

Me too, but to be fair, i probably wouldn't be so vehement about that if he wasn't such an important candidate.

Most people, with his sort of felony, even if there was any proof he was involved or not(there was not), would not get jail time for such a conviction.

People who do not like him are just extremely bias, and anything will set you off.

Same can be said for people who like him though, so take that as you like.

Most people would be locked away if they did a fraction of the stuff Trump has done, from fraud to sexual assault. The fact that he got a slightly harsher penalty once (which will likely still just be a fine) isn't really evidence of much, imo.

It's like how mob bosses often get arrested for tax evasion. Sometimes when you know the guy is a fucker, you just run with what you can get to stick. This happens all the time with prosecutors asking for harsher sentencing for reasons not involved in the trial...

Recently I've been watching old Stephen Colbert videos about the insurrection on January 6. The rundown of all the things Trump has done to incite the riot to how he refrained from stopping it to what he said right afterwards about the rioters... it's baffling how Trump did not get locked up for all of that. It's one of the most obvious crimes ever, supported with tons of evidence in form of extensive videos and a lot of witnesses.

During the trial where he was found guilty of 34 felonies, he also violated his gag order more than ten times. Every other citizen of the US would have got a jail penalty for such blatant repeated disrespect of the court.

Trump has been getting off so easy with everything that it is laughable that there are people out there who believe that the justice system is biased against him. I doubt that there has been anyone in US history who has been treated with more kids gloves than Trump.

Long story short, the USA is a very dumb country and the only thing that is going to save its democracy is the fact that Trump is even dumber. Any somewhat competent man with aspirations to dictatorship would have locked down the USA already, so you are very lucky.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

lmao at Rol

Not sure, just looked up felonies of the same nature, it is not a common thing to get locked up, especially on the first offense for such a thing.

Also, probably mistaken, but have they even given him his sentencing yet?

As for the Maralago event...Biden was let loose due to his mental capacity I believe, but for six months afterwards was still running for President. Not that this should automatically clear Trump, but it just shows how minor this stuff actually is to the law.

I think Trump is so because he just cannot shut his mouth, that most just endlessly nitpick at him. Add in Democrat owned news sources endlessly pushing something bad about him daily and you have the currently environment we are in.

For the January 6th "insurrection" or whatver you want to call it, most are not getting as bad of punishment as most would get for doing what was supposedly meant to be a take over. Also, do you think, if they had any evidence at all of treason on Trump's part that he would not be locked up by now? It has nearly been 3 years and nothing people, yet without be proven guilty of anything many just claim him to be guilty.

He was supposed to understand what was happening or going to happen at the capital within minutes, immediately send the National guard from his car? Come on. That is the local governments job, and if they cannot handle it the governor would call in the guard.

The bias against trump on this country make you all just want all this to be true and the news promoting the stories from their point of view are swading many thoughts on him.

Take example the border. It has said their have been less issues at the border since Trump left office, praise Biden! But your news does not tell you that this is because they are letting people in like never before. Of course there are going to be less stops and interactions. But it's painted as Biden is making great strides on the border!  Have we not all seen the endless migrant crisis these past few years?

I agree Trump is a loud mouth, who cannot shut up it seems, he is currently a criminal, and it is sad the Republicans cannot find anyone else. But anti-trumpers exaggerate the shit out of everything he does too.

Do you honestly think that the news just doesn't talk about the border? I've heard about the border so much over the last few years, I honestly wish they would shut up about it.

It took almost 3 hours for even the State national guard to be called and longer for the D.C national Guard. Yet Trump Is blamed for not just calling the Guard himself..

I believe he said, "March on the Capital", not invade the capital building. There is no evidence that I have seen that he knew anyone in charge of the group involved or that many who attacked the building, even knew most of the others.

But, please if you have the link saying he knew the people involved and pre-planned it, show me.

Blown out of proportion because he is trump.

I'm honestly glad that people had that event to latch onto as a culmination of all of Trump's plans to stay in power. Otherwise it would just be a bunch of unsexy stuff like making fraudulent slates of electors and trying to get his vice president to throw away the true electors or calls to Georgia officials trying to convince them to change the results. Without the Jan 6th committee we wouldn't know about Trump asking his DoJ to send letters saying they'd found some concerning voter fraud stuff when they hadn't. Jan 6th was pretty scary at the time but it put a spotlight on all of Trump's shit and I'm grateful for that.

...

I'm sorry but I find this whole line fricking hilarious, how low is the bar? Lmao. I know he sucks! I know he's a criminal! But Democrats exaggerate how bad the shitty criminal is! Christ...When politicians in the UK broke COVID safety rules the British public lost their shit, when Trump has multiple lawsuits, 34 felonies, incited an insurrection, it's "Yeah but what about the Democrats exaggerating"

That's not particularly a reason to give him a pass.

Sure, just ignore Trump asking Georgia to find more votes for him, calling the election rigged, asking Putin to find dirt on his political enemies (Biden), or Ukraine

No, I'm biased against Trump, because I've spent more than 5 minutes listening to him.
