I don't think it'll be that bad as you suggest though, it'll still be a democracy. He isn't Hitler as many say, you aren't going to wake up tomorrow to a totalitarian regime. I don't even think women are going to loose abortion rights on Trump's part, yeah states may do it but I suspect Trump to fight against that for support. The man wants everyone to love him. That's his soul goal in life, to be the sender of attention and to have people rally for him. He'll not alienate half of the population, I suspect he'll play to both bases even when they cry and shout at him.

Please explain how this leads to us needing nuclear deterrence... Putin said he's willing to listen to Trump. I'm afraid as much as anyone else that he'll take the US out of NATO but I don't see how this changes anything for the worse with Russia. And Japan for that matter, how would Trump anger Japan?

Oh yeah, but they are all silent as church mice.  Many of us pointed out trump was under polled in 2016 and 2020, we were "informed" we didn't know what we were talking about.

Japan, In the cities at least, I'm told Japan is a lonely place for foreigners if you go alone and speak the language. You'll live in a tiny space even if you're rich and you'll be surrounded by more people than ever but you'll feel as lonely as if you were on the Moon. Even in small bars people ignore each other. 

Trump's peace plan is for Ukraine to surrender. If Ukraine surrenders, Russia has a working war economy and weak neighbors like Lithuania, Moldovia, Georgia, and Armenia. Trump has talked about leaving NATO and Europeans have clearly not supported eastern Europe enough, so Russia can just continue.

You might think Russia would run out of men. But as already seen with NK, they can just buy manpower from their little axis. If China joins in, infinite manpower.

If China or anyone in east Asia is emboldened, Japan becomes unhappy.

If Trump does his planned tariffs, Japan becomes unhappy.
