Key takeaways-
PS5 held pretty well (only 16% drop) vs H1 2023 which had a massive sales boost.

Switch's 32% drop is still quite impressive for a system in its 8th year.

The last of us 2 remastered has done quite well to be in the top 10 for the 1st half of 2024 even outselling some of the biggest multiplatform AAA's of 2024. (Dragon's Dogma 2, Tekken 8, suicide squad)

Infelizmente as vendas do xbox não são boas, veremos quando Call of Duty sair no gamepass. O ps5 vendeu bem, mas precisa melhorar muito para chegar perto do ps4. Switch ainda forte para um sistema prestes a ser substituído

A fact to take into account is that software sales by units aren't down that much, but revenue wise they are because most of the software toping the chart aren't full priced.

Also, aside from Dragon's Dogma 2, Rise of the Ronin and FF VII Rebirth did not chart in the Top 10 too.

Man, InstallBase's estimates are apocalyptic.

Man the Xbox Series being down more than the Switch is truly abysmal for it. What a fumble to go from being really competitive with Playstation in Europe a couple generations ago to barely having a presence in that region now.

Wasn't xbox down like 20% year on year, last year as well? it was down yoy before that as well, if I'm remembering correctly.
It just keeps dropping.

Ps5s hold is good. A little sad it’s dropping in the 4th year, the hardware truly is on the downslope and has already peaked. Was hoping for a peak this year.   Not sure they will make the predicted 18.5 M. On pace for 17.5M.

Nintendos hold is insane for year 8 of a console, especially considering year 7 saw almost 16m of sales. For context ps5 is predicting 18.5 m for year 4. I definitely don’t think switch will reach projected sales of 13.5M.  Will need an October surprise

Xbox hold is the apocalypse. Really sad, was hoping for a better showing. I love it when all 3 consoles are competitive and doing well. Way better for us gamers. Maybe the bangers they showcased recently will drive up sales.

Doubtful.

At this rate, with all the recent news of the increase in Gamepass prices, the shutdown of most marketing plans in Europe and basically selling the idea that you don't need an Xbox to play their software, the signs are getting clear to their future endeavors in the VG space and it's not in the traditional space PlayStation and Nintendo have carved themselves into.

Problem is the other endeavors they're currently pursuing haven't shown enough dividend or immediate results.

The mix messaging for their consumer base since January is not helping either.

Had to go to neogaf to find what you were referencing here.  Anyways above is from installbase.
Almost 1:9 ratio.

Half a year to hit 150k, in the EU. (Not sure how many countries this is for (probably not all in eu?), or if its accurate)
