Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club releases August 29th

With this every month of the 2nd half of the year except December now has a game releasing. While there's no megatons it's surprisingly packed for the Switch's final year.

Yeah on average we are having one game almost every month from Nintendo.

And they are all new games, not remasters and remakes which is what I was expecting.

That too. Quite a contrast from the lineup for the first half of the year.

The way the title is setup to include the FTD part tells me they prolly want this game to be approachable for anyone despite the two previous games.

Sure would be fun if they want back and added multi language translations for the first two games

What do you mean? They remade the two old games like three years ago...

But what's being shown in big characters isn't the titular FDC title. The remakes don't matter as much in the sense, they're marketing this has an entry point to the series, despite the semi-recent remakes.
