What are these Wii games you can't? They are likely the same games you cant on Switch because it makes sense to only offer motion such as the motion control sports minigames. Games like Carnival Games released on Wii and Switch for a reason. Also Wii and Switch are successful for the same reason... Nintendo games. No one saw the wii remote and thought "omg, motion controller! They saw people playing Wii Sports with a wii remote. Trying to separate these two is nonsense, Nintendo was clearly aiming this thing to be like Wii. Friendcodes and all lol. Joycons are the very definition of improved Wii remotes. Motion is core to Switch by no stretch of the imagination are they not, you only feel this way because motion was far more popular on Wii.

Lol, I love how you think you determine every gamer prefers the pro controller. Several games supported the Wiis classic controller.

what are you talking about? on wii there was no option to play most games with out using motion it was forced on you. you could not use a pro controller to play mario galaxy 1 and 2 for example, zelda, donkey kong. lets no forget also kinect was massive so it wasn't just Nintendo games, and just look at the wii and kinect  successor they were DOA because while it was a cool and fresh concept people got tired of it and figured out that games with out motion controls play better for the most part, that's why very few games are built with motion control being the core of the game.

Then name them? Obviously you are pulling this from your butt. Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 both used motion for simple gestures such as jumping between planets via the stars but so did Odyssey forcing gestures on us to fully utilize the hat. How about Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/ Eevee forcing us to capture pokemon via motion controls? There were two Zelda games on Wii and the other had choices similar to BoTW. WiiU was not dead on arrival due to motion, that is pure nonsense. You need to explain if motion was so toxic then why are motion controls fully acceptable on Switch? Switch has a Pokemon game with forced motion lol.

I really don't know how I'm pulling things out of my butt the wii did not give you options to use conventional controls. In mario odyssey if one wants to use a pro controller you can. In mario galaxy you forced to use motion controls just the simple fact. Motion controls now are just a optional feature that are after thought and games aren't being built around these are just facts. with the wii and kinect many games it was a huge focus and it basically had to be in every game no matter what the game was.

Wii classic controller and Wii classic controller pro say hello. You and me both know you are not a Nintendo fan, so why are you debating like you actually know what you are talking about? Mario Odyssey requires motion controls which the Switch pro controller has built in. As a matter of fact the Switch is the first console from Nintendo with all of its controllers having built in motion controls conventional or non conventional. Regardless, you aren't going to sit here and just bypass Pokemon Let's Go also forces you to play with motion controls. Since Mario Galaxy is proof that motion controls are core to Wii then Pokemon Let's Go is proof motion is core to Switch. Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are the highest selling games on each and both offer optional motion controls.

So one game not even made by nintendo having forced motion controls is proof that they are core. When on wii and kinect almost every game it was mandatory. you do realize you could not play almost every big Nintendo game on wii with a classic pro, nope you have to use wii mote controls for donkey kong, mario galaxy 1 and 2 , and zelda, you could not use the wii classic controller. I do like some nintendo games btw.

What game was mandatory? That one game is from Nintendo's second largest franchise? You are trying to downplay a Pokemon game lmao. Also, I hope you aren't silly enough to be suggesting that due to a game using the Wii remote and nunchuk, that makes it motion controls? That's what it's beginning to sound like. The Wii remote and nunchuk were definitely capable of traditional controls, thats exactly how i played Mario Kart Wii, NSMBWii, and Smash Bros on Wii with no motion. These games could also be played by turning the wii remote like a NES controller, whats more conventional than that? Wii had plenty of options, the reason wii classic controller didn't support every game similar to WiiU pro controller not supporting every WiiU game is due to the lack of motion in those controllers. Something that Nintendo solved in the pro controller by adding motion lol.

No i'm talking about games like mario galaxy where you had to use motion controls for gameplay. almost every game  had it forced but it was a short lived fad.

It was so short lived that Super Mario Odyssey also forced motion controls in gameplay some 10 years later. Nintendo literally doesn't sell a controller without motion controls, whether it's joycons or pro controller.

Given that Nintendo and Microsoft signed a 10 year deal for COD last year, Black Ops 6 may well see release on the Switch successor as well.

And you know what that likely means? COD with motion controls baby.

you really don't need to use any of those moves i been playing the game for 8 hours plus and just found out it had motion controls lol. it's included but really these moves would have been much better pulled off with just regular controls as almost every game that ahs them except few rare ones that does them right.
