Toney! Ya blew it!

Mahomes complaining about the refs is absurd. Offensive offsides was the correct call. He should be complaining about his wide receiver not the refs.

Titans amazing game against Dolphins, wow!

Pair of upsets today!
Especially the Titans/Dolphins, because the Titans were basically GIVING the Dolphins the game w/ those blunders and dumb turnovers at the worst possible times!

Stupid Packers blew it against the lowly Giants. The only consolation is that the Packers still hold the seventh seed, but they just made things more difficult for themselves by wasting this opportunity to create one game separation between themselves and the rest of the playoff contenders. Next up is the crucial home game against Tampa Bay, a game that the Packers now can't really afford to lose after dropping to 6-7.

It really sucks that the Vikings won this week despite scoring only three points.

Chargers just make me sad...

That lost was a blessing in disguise since that lead to the head coach being fired which should have happened a while ago already.

The Packers rollercoaster continues. When they were 4-6, it was improbable for them to make the playoffs with games against the Lions and Chiefs ahead. Then they won both of these games to move to .500 and their playoff chances increased greatly with a soft remaining schedule. Then they laid an egg against the lowly Giants and yesterday they just weren't good enough in the second half against the Bucs.

The playoffs are still within reach at 6-8 with the remaining games against the Panthers, Vikings and Bears, but the Packers will have to win all three to get in, unless a lot of wild things happen in the next three weeks. When it comes to tie-breakers in the wild card race, the Packers hold them against the Rams and Saints, but not the Buccaneers and Falcons. The one against the Vikings has yet to be determined; a prerequisite is a win in Minneapolis, and if the Vikings lose one of their two remaining games against the Lions, it's a sure thing. That leaves the Seahawks which will come down to the conference record; if the Hawks lose against the Eagles tonight, they'll have their sixth loss in the NFC, one more than the Packers.

The bottom line is that if the Packers manage to win all three of their remaining games, they won't need to rely much on help from other teams. Do I trust them to pull it off? No, not with all these bag of surprise results they've had this year. And barely missing the playoffs would match my expectations from before the season began.

Even if the packers make the playoffs they will be out in their first game.

Not if they get to play in Dallas.

On a more serious note, getting into the playoffs is always better than not participating in them. Advancing in the playoffs only matters when you know that it is a squad that can make it to the Super Bowl, so there's not always shame in being eliminated in the wild card round.
