I've had a ps5 since launch.  I own and play more switch than ps5, because it has better games.

That's nice and thanks for sharing your opinion when no asked, but we were talking about games like witcher 3 and doom 2016 would you wanna play those on Switch and get a butchered experience or ps5.

You don't need to take it so personally when people disagree with you.

What does it matter to you if I'm fine with Switch graphics, or Chrkeller prefers PS5 to Switch? Chill out, it's not the end of the world.

The point is Switch can't get a native port of a game like RDR2 unless it runs at 480p using lowest preset

Meanwhile base PS4 is 1080p native 30 fps. I still wonder how Hogwarts Legacy will look on the Switch, they have not shown a thing and it's supposed to release in 2 months from now.

That game is already 720p on base Xbox One.

It'd be higher than 480p; probably dynamic 720p like other 1080p/30fps PS4 games ported to Switch.

I am quite curious to see how Hogwarts Legacy holds up seeing as its already significantly cut back on PS4 and Xbox One.

Sorry but dynamic 720p how? Base Xbox One is 864p in RDR2 and 720p in HL and Switch GPU is like 1/3 of Xbox One's.

Pretty much every port that is 1080p/30fps on PS4 is dynamic 720p on Switch; devs don't seem to want to target lower than that and they can trim elsewhere like texture filtering, shadows, ambient occlusion, LOD, effects work, etc to make it happen.

That's for Red Dead mind you; HL is next level demanding, managing only 900p on PS4, so all bets are off for that one, though I imagine they'll still try to hit 720p but end up lower most times in practise.

I don't take it personally we are just discussing graphics and performance. I just don't get how someone is so into discussing and making topics about them, yet doest care to about actually playing games with descent hardware and performance sorry it's doesn't make sense to me.

what annoyed about Chrkeller is he came into making into ps5 vs switch, with the switch has better games which is just preference and depending if a person owns a PC cause if you don't own PC and only have switch then ps5 is leagues  ahead in terms of games i enjoy but as i said before that just a preference issue.

I find technical stuff fascinating from an academic point of view; this goes back to when I was a kid when I'd love to read about how machines worked and stuff like that. I'm autistic, and with that often comes a love of analysing systemic and technical things.

I don't necessarily need the games I play to be technically high end though, as gameplay and art style matters more to my experience of actually playing a game. Enjoying talking about tech and enjoying playing a game are separate things for me.

I am not against great graphics of course; once I move in with my girlfriend we'll share a PS5 and I'll definitely be using that, plus I am interested in eventually getting a Series X for Hellblade 2. (Provided it doesn't turn out to suck) But for right now, I have so much to play on Switch that I don't need to rush out and buy a new console.

Ah ok that's understandable. I honestly can't wait for you to get new hardware i feel if you love  gaming you should upgrade your hardware lol PC, switch2, ps5 or anything but thats just my opinion, it's just too dated, and i feel it just really hurts the experience of course its just my opinion though.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is graphically more impressive than TLOU on PS3.

Well I don't feel it hurts my experience.

I mean yeah, that's to be expected as it is superior hardware. The whole "Switch is on par with PS3/360" is such a weird myth, it's remarkable how many people believe it considering it is objectively false. My guess is people are comparing their memories of how good PS3 looked back in the 7th gen to how Switch games look to them now.
