I find technical stuff fascinating from an academic point of view; this goes back to when I was a kid when I'd love to read about how machines worked and stuff like that. I'm autistic, and with that often comes a love of analysing systemic and technical things. I don't necessarily need the games I play to be technically high end though, as gameplay and art style matters more to my experience of actually playing a game. Enjoying talking about tech and enjoying playing a game are separate things for me. I am not against great graphics of course; once I move in with my girlfriend we'll share a PS5 and I'll definitely be using that, plus I am interested in eventually getting a Series X for Hellblade 2. (Provided it doesn't turn out to suck) But for right now, I have so much to play on Switch that I don't need to rush out and buy a new console. |
Ah ok that's understandable. I honestly can't wait for you to get new hardware i feel if you love gaming you should upgrade your hardware lol PC, switch2, ps5 or anything but thats just my opinion, it's just too dated, and i feel it just really hurts the experience of course its just my opinion though.
