90's! Super Mario World and Super Mario 64, Zelda A Link To The Past and Ocarnia of Time in the same decade Along with some of the best jrpg's of all time in Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6, Super Mario rpg, and Suikoden 2.

This is difficult. In terms of being blown away by gaming the most it was the 90s. you can never relive those moments again that feeling, looking at the magazines was just so hype back then.

In terms of play time and games i wanted to play it it was the ps4 era and a small dose of wiiu.

Probably 2000s, hard to beat a decade where gta 3, halo, silent hill 2, mgs2, pikmin, smash melee, max Payne, ffx, ico, pro skater 3, jak and dexter, conkers bad fur day, super monkey ball, devil may cry and more all released in 2001

90's easily. So many great games on all systems every year without pause.

As far as innovation, probably the 80's. So many of the current IPs that Nintendo makes bank off of now, were invented in that decade.

As far as everything else, yes, it would probably be the 90's.

The industry had a certain magic in the 90s that just has never repeated itself. It's also crazy to go from this:

Yea especially growing up in that era. So many times in that era as kid i said to myself is this real. I won't lie though Gran turismo 3 and MGS 2 blew away the dreamcast graphically from what i remember.

90s, the best decade of everything :P

As opposed to the 2020s, the worst decade of everything. -_-

Nintendo was especially best in the 90s (other than inadvertently giving rise to PlayStation), where it gave a shit about games besides Mario.
