He is right. Me and him had a bet on R&C sales, and he won. Haze could do around 650-700k coming into the holiday season and push a million by Q1 2009. |

I do not see your reasoning here... First off Folklore only opened with a 24k week and Lair only opened with a 70k week and both games are missing European numbers. Also all of these game released on a system with like 7million less consoles.... Why compare these games Also please revise your predictions. It will take a miracle for the 360 to sell 8 mil more consoles for the year... or if you think the 360 will sell 8 mil more it would be a shocker that the system selling more than it week in and week out would do 2 mil less.... |
Folklore wasn't supposed to become a big seller, I'll give you that. But Lair is a fair comparison. Not that I think Haze will be flawed in terms of control mechanics and frame rate, but Lair was supposed to be at least a semi-big seller.
Btw, I upped my predicition for Haze. I actually believe it will sell more than most of the other predicitions in this very thread (1.25 mill in it's 1st year).
I won't revise my predicitons in the sign, that would feel like cheating, although I admit it's clear already that they won't be fulfilled. That means the PS3, which I believe will sell nearly 13 million in 2008. The X360 isn't selling as bad as you claim though, actually it's on track to sell 10 million this year.
