Most games released during the SNES/Saturn era could perfectly be 2023 indie games. The Switch Online Library let’s us see how good those games look on HD.

I was going to mention this, but it's 21st century, and I must abide by the rules! Could've mentioned the original I suppose, as that has all the mechanics that THPS2 improved upon, but I find it a bit difficult to go back to it now. It feels a bit stiff and more unforgiving in comparison.

The NES, Master System, SNES and Genesis/Mega Drive are filled with games that still holds up. Thats why many indie developers are releasing games inspired by those systems games today.

Do you count the year 2000 as 20th century? Some people don't.
