Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas comes VERY close

There is no best game ever until every gamer in the world would agree.

SMB3. Anyone who says otherwise deserves a kick in the balls because they're wrong.

Counter-Strike would be way up there for me, too. OoT was great and all, but IMO, it's not even the best game on the N64. I would rank both Goldeneye and Mario 64 higher.

I'd have to say OoT is far from being the best game of all time. It's one of the best though. I do however agree that FF7 is the best game of all time.


Reasons:
1. FF7's story is still extremely entertaining today with a fun basic battle system where anyone can pick up and play.
2.OoT, while it may have no flaws on the outside like in it's gameplay, the gameplay ages completely taking away from the experience of the game over time. Where as FF7 you don't only have the gameplay to rely on for entertainment. Storylines hardly age at all due to no game ever having the same EXACT storyline or feel to it, no matter how close the similarities are.
3.The music was masterful and put the player into a euphoric mental state(feeling of pleasure in the brain almost making the individual a vegetable, but in a good way) which is extremely rare for any game to accomplish. There are practically only a handful of games that can do that. Almost all of them are RPG's

Well, it's my favorite Zelda game, followed by Wind Waker...

...but my favorite game of all time? Nah, that title goes to Sonic and Knuckles for the Genesis. Yeah... It's not a title that holds that honor with most people, but what can you do?

Sorry rocket pig but SMW is better than SMB3 but it is a close run thing.

Mario 3 > Mario 64 > Mario World

Galaxy is in there somewhere. Haven't decided if it's better than Mario 64 yet, but 3 is the best.

In short words, YES

 Super Mario All-stars > Super Mario World > Super Mario Galaxy > Super Mario 64
