With the current numbers it seems a certainty that this will be PlayStations best February ever. (Out of the systems tracked by VGC at least.)

PS4's best February was 1.32m in 2018. This February should crush that record.

Possibly the best February for a PlayStation console ever. As it was in the USA. Closing the launch aligned gap to PS4 by almost 0.8m in a single month, crazy stuff.

March is looking like another great month for PS5 sales. I wouldn't be surprised if it sells even more in March than in February in the US and Europe.

As expected another insane month for the PS5 doing even better than in January. It'll probably be at least a bit lower in March but will still be huge. Switch is still doing well but it being over 30% down shows that a successor will be needed soon and Xbox did somewhat better compared to last month but being flat compared to last year still isn't ideal so hopefully March shows some growth.

Also the PS5 and Xbox Series should hit the fabled 56m combined mark for the next update which will be fun.

PS5's YTD sales are already higher than they were by May 2022. The first 2 months of this year beat the first 5 months of last year.

Who would have thought the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S would sell more than 56 million combined lifetime. Yes, that sarcasm. Around ~170 million combined is the most likely outcome.
