Yes. From 0 to 100.

Those games were finished before 2010 but never played again - I only started scoring my playthrough experiences from 2010 and afterwards - so ya...I did play multiple versions of FF1, 2, 3, etc in the last 10+ years (some of them repeat playthroughs of games I finished in the early 2000s like the SNES games lol)

XVI is a Final Fantasy game, don't care what these twitter weirdos say.

Idk if spoiler... More of a cool feature I like. FF16

Spoiler!
Being able to have an NPC that has the ability to give you a detailed rundown of key points in the story with alliances, different parties and how they relate to one another has been a great edition. Especially when there are multiple factions involved.

FFIX will always remain my absolute fave in the series. It encaptures the spirit of the franchise in general which made older fans fall in love with it since NES. The music is the best in the series. The art is the best in the series. The main characters are Lovely esp Vivi, Garnett, Zidane, and Steiner (for his development)

Vivi is my fave FF character ever.

It took me a long time to come around on VII but I do love it now. Second fave game in the series. From characters to music to story to its world.

I like XII a lot mainly for its atmosphere and world that alone is one of my faves in the series. Just wish the story panned out better. It starts off cool with political turmoil. Just falls apart.

FFVI is so ambitious for the hardware. I do and don't want a remake of this. I do in that I want to see that world fully realized but don't in fear of it falling into modern game trappings that dilute big worlds from feeling alive.

FFIX and VI are my most favorites.

For years its gone between the two back and forth for #1 and #2 but after playing IX again on PC few years ago and VI as well - also playing VI again right now for PC this time - I can easily say VI is my most favorite.

VII is my #3 most favorite followed by IV which is my #4 and X as my #5.

13 has a pretty good story and it had some nice battle mechanics.

It just sucks at being a rpg, you constantly feel limited in doing mostly anything, damn even getting weapon upgrades which should be basic is so rare in that game.

Still like it tho, was more dissapointed on 8 and 10 than 13, but those also have their good points as well.

99% of 13's story was relegated to Datalogs, meaning the game's plot was homework. None of the actual story was shown to the characters. Yes, the worldbuilding was great, as is all final Fantasy worlds, but none of it came across in the course of the game itself. Which is unacceptable for a game so linear. Honestly, the one good thing about linear games (And the reason I like them) is that the experience can be curated and controlled remarkably well, and FF13's story was not told well with characters that were developed off-screen.

And its combat didn't really give you any agency. You got to pick one of 24 paradigms and hoped your party did what you wanted because everything went too fast for you to manually control it, unlike 12 where you could definitely control it manually without the gambit system, which allowed you to program your characters to act as you would in any given situation.

I still to this day have no idea how anyone can see 13's combat system as anything other than garbage and a MASSIVE step down from 12's combat system.

People kept teeling me that about FF 13 story, but well, I read everything I can, yes, people don't seem to have a problem heavily praising the Souls series for having most of its lore and story presented in menus and having to be put together... even as yes, I know they are really, really different games.

I probably had a way better time with 13's story because I had played 13-2 before it, but still, 13 story is good IMO.

I had fun with 13's combat, it was indeed quite fast, I was overwhelmed in the first boss, but got used to it, it is what it is.

12 is my favorite FF, so I can agree 13 was quite the step back, basically everywhere.

My ranking from the ones I played (without counting spin-offs) would be:

12 = 9 > 7 > 13-2 > 13-3 > 13 > 10-2 > 10 > 8

You can see 13 is not particularly high, but it was definitely not the one I had the worst time on.

13-3 is Lightning Returns, btw, I refuse to not call it 13-3; and 1, 2 and 3 are far too simple and dated to be ranked with the others, IMO.

Hopefully I can get to play 4 to 6 in the pixel remaster when it gets a substantial discount.

IX was always my favorite, but I tried playing it again a few years ago and struggled to stick with it.  Meanwhile I had no issues going back and replaying VI recently.
